PRESIDENT
Charles Templer is the founder of IWU. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from the University of Southern California and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from California State University, Long Beach. He continues to oversee the growth and daily challenges of the business.
Leticia Camarena
GENERAL MANAGER
Leticia has been with IWU for over 21 years. She uses her exceptional ability with numbers to oversee the company budget and expenditures. She is responsible for the company’s profit and loss figures, managing all quarterly and annual reporting. Leticia excels at making sure each IWU customer and vendor receive excellent customer service.
Therese Marquez
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Therese has over 15 years with IWU, starting as a temporary office clerk and working in each department of the company. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Cal Poly, Pomona. As COO, Therese is responsible for ensuring efficient and effective company operations, including all human resources and marketing.
Robert Twineham
OPERATIONS MANAGER
Robert is IWU’s longest term employee with 34 years under his belt. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Anthropology from California State University, Fullerton. As Operations Manager, Robert oversees all Operations staff and vehicles. He is also the IWU point person for all DLA contracts, ensuring performance that is proactive, flexible, and responsive. Robert’s strengths lie in his exceptional knowledge of hazardous waste and his commitment to safety.
Steve Whitman
TECHNICAL SERVICES MANAGER
Steve began his career with IWU over 21 years ago as a field project manager. He now leads IWU’s Technical Services Department. He uses his almost encyclopedic knowledge of chemicals to oversee all IWU customer profiles ensuring accurate characterization of the waste streams. IWU customers rely on Steve to answer their questions and provide exceptional customer service. Steve’s training and education comes from his experience managing Lab Packing services, Confined Space Entry projects, Remediation projects, Advanced Hazardous Categorization (HAZ CAT) and Incident Command Emergency Response service calls for IWU as well as Safety-Kleen and Laidlaw Environmental.
Robert Napoles
SALES MANAGER
Robert has worked for IWU since 1997, starting as a Technician in the field. He brings his field expertise and that personal touch to IWU’s customers giving them practical and economical options for their waste management.
Maribel Molina
GOVERNMENT CONTRACTS MANAGER
Maribel has managed IWU’s government contracts for over four years. She is responsible for the entire order process from Delivery Order processing and shipping document printing to final reconciliation and invoicing. She works closely with government agency staff to ensure timely performance and accurate paperwork.
Arturo Morales
DISPATCHER
Arturo has worked for IWU for six years. He started as a Technician and was promoted to Dispatcher when his integrity and good judgement became apparent. Arturo excels at balancing IWU’s customer needs with the economic reality of staff scheduling.
